The noise you’re hearing is the pivot cup. To get rid of that pesky sound, try this: First, take the hanger off of the baseplate. Then, take some soap shavings or wax and spread it around the cup. Finally, put it all back together. Once reassembled, you shouldn’t hear any more squeaking!
