What does CPSC tested mean?

CPSC stands for “Consumer Product Safety Commission”. Each of our helmets are up to standard CPSC certifications to provide full protection for our customers.

Are CPSC tested helmets safer than other helmets?

We want to give our customers the best protection. CPSC (Consumer Product Safety Commission) certified helmets are standard to protect against skull fractures and brain injuries.

Do Retrospec snow helmets require any assembly?

They do not! They come fully assembled so that you can get shredding right away.

What is an "ErgoKnob"?

This is a feature found on many of our helmets that ensures an extra snug fit. The ErgoKnob is a dial on the back of the helmet that can be turned to add tightness and keep the helmet secure.

Are all Retrospec snow helmets adjustable?

All of our adult ski and snowboard helmets have an easily adjustable ErgoKnob dial to tighten and loosen your helmet as needed. Additionally, both adult and kids’ ski and snowboard helmets have adjustable straps to ensure a right fit.

How do I tighten my snowshoes?

Run the strap across your foot in the snowshoe and insert the strap behind the tightening buckle. Then, lift the crank repeatedly until the strap sits snugly around your foot.
